Payment Policy

Overview

This Payment Policy explains how payments currently work for orders placed through the Shushu’s website, WhatsApp and other approved ordering channels.

Current Payment Method

For now, all website orders are paid on delivery via M-Pesa.

Online payment before delivery will be available soon.

Pay on Delivery via M-Pesa

When you place an order, select Pay on Delivery via M-Pesa at checkout.

Once your food arrives, you will complete payment through M-Pesa using the payment details provided by the rider or restaurant representative.

Your order will be handed over after payment is confirmed.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

  • Have their phone ready when the order arrives.
  • Pay promptly via M-Pesa.
  • Confirm the payment amount before sending.
  • Use only the payment details provided by the authorised rider or representative.
  • Wait for payment confirmation before receiving the order.

Failed or Delayed Payment

If payment is delayed, fails or is not confirmed, the rider or representative may hold the order until payment is completed.

If payment is refused, the order may not be handed over and Shushu’s may refuse future orders from the customer.

Future Online Payments

Shushu’s may introduce online payment before delivery in future. This may include M-Pesa checkout, card payments or other payment methods.

When introduced, online payments may be processed through third-party payment providers and may be subject to additional terms.
